SN530 is a NVMe drive, supporting up to Gen3 PCIe.
Do you have the possibility for testing it on CM4 (also see https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/6195)?
You should raise an issue on github as it's another WD drive which seem incompatible with PI5 + M.2 HAT+
