Well my box is a bloody sq one with a problemMy mistake, I thought the "D" models were always the streamlined plastic case models, it doesn't look as simple as that. You would assume the internals were the same but the square box models appear to have considerably more reports about problems.Do you have any idea what the suffix signifies, that seems that seem's like a logical thing to considerI have seen similar reports about the TL-SG105S not working with certain device combinations and avoided buying it, I got the TP-Link "D" suffix models instead.
On one occasion I had a problem which could present similar symptoms, it was a long time ago and I can't remember the exact details but I'd disconnected a number of things from the network, when I plugged everything back in the network wasn't happening. Eventually I discovered it was one device flooding the network.
Have a look with wireshark to see if any heavy or unusual traffic is visible.
