Hi, is there a good reason NOT to install the 64 bit version of Pi OS in a Pi5??

Only if you require any software which is not available in a 64bit package.

64bit software may use slightly more memory, but IMO it's negligible.

Whatever you decide the PI 5 requires a 64bit kernel even if you choose to use a 32bit userland setup.
