As far as I know it has never even reached the stage of an un-standard with a recommended standard prefix like RS-274 Gerber file formats, let alone a real standard with an standards organization prefix like TIA-232.

The original implementation for SPI was introduced by Motorola in the early 1980s. The original pin names used by Motorola are SCLK, MOSI, MISO, and CS. I still label them that way on my schematics after all these decades.
