Thank you all for helping, and sorry for asking so many questions. I downloaded Nginx, but it seems like this is used to create your own webserver, while I want to visit an already existing website. Maybe I should explain better what my goal is.
I want to hook this raspberry pi up to a monitor which goes in the common room of my study association. I want it to show the upcoming activities we have. My idea was to let the raspberry pi visit a webpage, and then letting our website committee build a page which cycles through the upcomming activities. From what I can tell, with the Lite OS, this is not possible, since I have not been able to get any display on it.
So my question is: Is it possible to do what I want to do on this raspberry pi model? If so, which OS do I need, and what package do I use to do this? If not, which raspberry pi is able to do this? Or do I even need something else than a raspberry pi?
