, but yeah it would work, and I presume the cost difference would be negligible or zero, it just bothered me a little.
I looked at other QFN 60's and Infineon manage with slightly shorter pads, so I suppose that might be one other option - I presume it'll flow ok if I ever get any manufactured ( I'm just hand soldering the first batch).

Regarding the QFN 80, as I'm porting a board I made for the RP2040, the QFN60 was still pretty close to re-route. I have to limit myself sometimes or I'll get carried away tweaking stuff forever! (I'd be wondering what I could do with the extra pins)
