i will try this kodi setting in the future. so far i never came across it but with my normal non-video-wall kodi use i also didn't have big jerkyness issues anyways.
the video wall worked ok at the exhibition but i am not 100% satisfied with the HDMI splitter i used. it was a rather cheap one (<100€) so probably this was to be expected. i didn't want to get an expensive one either. they are more than 1000€.
it would be nice if this could be done with a pure raspberry pi solution. one raspberry pi 2 zero per monitor and one raspberry pi to keep them in sync or something like that. or if you only need four monitors then maybe with only two raspberry pi 5s.
i found https://piwall.co.uk/ but it seems to be abandoned since 2015. does anyone here have experience with it? does it still work?
