Hi, there have been some problems with the PyAV library (the av module), in that we had to make some local modifications but were not able to upstream them back to mainline PyAV at the time. This means that, for the moment, you have to use the Raspberry Pi version of PyAV from apt ("sudo apt install python3-av").
However, I've been having another go at getting our patches upstreamed just recently, and the maintainers there have been very helpful. So once the next PyAV release happens (December? Januaray?) we'll be able to move back to mainline, and no longer have our own version, which I think is much better for everyone. Thanks!
