The answer of the Waveshare support was, that they recommend to ask in the Raspberry Pi Forums.

Thank you! Unfortunately this didn't change anything.

I'll have a look whether I find some other drivers or example code for the driver chip ILI9486L. Before I was looking for ili9341, because I thought that was the correct chip.
