Troubleshooting • Re: Pi5 only boots for Raspberry Pi OS

I got a Pi5 a while back, the argon40 neo case and a nvme.
All was put together and I wanted to install my favourite pi distro - dietpi.
For whatever reason, I installed Raspberry Pi OS to the nvme and it seems to be working fine.
But I have tried to install dietpi by flashing a sha256 sum verified image via belena etcher and imager to a sd card and usb stick and no matter what changes I make to

I can't get the dietpi installation media recognized.

I did the flashing process exactly the same as I did for my pi 4 and that worked like a charm.

I'm at a loss here.

Any ideas on how to sort this out?
