Camera board • Re: IR cut, how do I use it?

It's 2 wire's on a plug

What do I need to do to activate it?

I assume we apply a voltage to it but what voltage?

Just connect it to a pin and set high to activate it?
Can't say if they're the same, but the mount I have needs a short +ve pulse, (I found 1.5V was enough, for a few 10s of ms), to trip in in one direction (it's then stable in that position) and then a negative pulse to reset it back to the other stable position. Plan (yet to be implemented!) is to use an L293 to allow the bidirectional pulses to be generated from GPIO level pulses.
So I need to reverse the polarity assuming it works the same to switch it back?
