5 V 3A is no good to Raspberry Pi 4B; it needs 5.1V, the 0.1 volt addition is critical for Raspberry Pi to work properly.
Ignore that poster. 5 Volt 3 Amp is good enough for a 4B. The 0.1 Volt addition is not critical for a 4B to work properly.
NO! it depends of the resistance of the power lead, even a perfect 5.000 Volt power supply that can deliver say ten AMP without any voltage drop will still fail if the current variations cause a variable voltage drop over the cable, and the PI does NOT actually receive a stable non changing 5.000 Voltage.
The official supplies always had suitable cables, and a small compensation overvoltage for its cables.
Why does mahjongg write "NO!" and then "it depends on the resistance of the power lead"? A 5.00 Volt supply that can deliver adequate current at that voltage fed through a suitable cable (by virtue of the length and quality of its wires) is enough for a 4B to work properly. namlow explicitly claimed "5 V 3A is no good to Raspberry Pi 4B; it needs 5.1V, the 0.1 volt addition is critical..."

I agree that the additional 0.1 Volt is a way to counteract cable resistance. But it is not the only way and as such "needs 5.1 V" and "the 0.1 volt addition is critical" is false.
