From the point of view of a normal user like me, a gpio line is identified by the number of the pin it is attached to, or by the gpio code associated to that line, as given by the manufacturer and accepted, e.g., by the gpio_request_one() kernel function. Do you mean that such a function is no more valid? Or that the argument is no more the 'official' line code? The gpib_bitbang driver has no direct access to the hardware, instead it uses only standard system functions. How do I obtain the Device Tree code of a specific gpio line? A bit more of help, please. Thanks.
