At one time (In the good old days of dual-in-line) a lot of schematics had all the decoupling capacitors lumped together in one corner of the sheet together with a list of IC's they applied to which included the pin numbers where not obvious. Then we went all hedgehog with our IC's and all nets with our design software and everything broke.Personally I find the way most schematics are drawn with respect to decoupling capacitors very frustrating. The schematic provides absoloutely no idea of which pin, or even which chip the capacitor is for.
Someone did try to start up a convention of a bar beside the pins/wires that needed to be decoupled (so the wire itself was half of the capacitor symbol) but it didn't take off, although a similar convention was used sometimes for through-hole capacitors.
I've absolutely no idea what standards apply these days, no doubt there are some.
