A small update.when trying to install from the network I get some error, I didn't put any effort into figuring out why. This was on a fresh install. I will try the network install for the fun of it.i think you should just do a clean install
sounds corrupt from the get go, are you using a adapter to write to sd
if you have ethernet & wired keyboard, you can hold the shift key at poweron and install directly from the network.
make sure to test the sd when you get to the desktop
menu - accessories - raspberry pi diagnostics
I'm using a full size to micro SD adapter.
Will also run diagnostics.
SD card tests good.
When setting up my software for my project (on Bookworm) everything installs and shows as successfully configured. When I go to run it it throws an error 0, software specific, no documentation lol.
For giggles I loaded Bullseye, it boots to desktop first try, software installs and works no problem. I guess that's what I'm going with for now.
A separate oddity, I ordered a second PI incase it was a hardware issue. One runs at 36* the other at 46* under the same conditions...
Anyhow, thanks for all the suggestions!
