On a fresh install, we still need to enable the uart (UART1) on GPIO using raspi-config, it is not on the GPIO by default.

I cannot see /dev/ttyAMA0. How do I repair it?

I even cannot see extra serial under /dev/ after I have plugged in a USB UART port. Is this a correct set up?
