I saw the new Raspberry Pi monitor a few days ago but hesitating to buy because of the following:
I need a portable monitor for retro computing that can handle 720x576 / 800x600 resolutions in 4:3 aspect ratio but it seems some 16:9 monitors ,when they receive such picture information, stretch the picture to 16:9 instead of letterboxing it (displaying in 4:3 with black bars on the sides).
Do you have any information how the new Raspberry Pi monitor behaves when receiving such picture data?
