And yes - both are on same network.
As I said everything works in all other cases - except for when I boot from USB-SSD drive - it is attached with a PCIe NVM USB adapter.
I don't think it could be power issue as Raspberry Pi Connect works fine.
Does anyone have same setup - I do leave the M2+ Hat attached (with no NVM inserted)?
I could try removing Hat - but will probably wait to try on fresh Pi5 coming this week
