I bought a Beelink N100 S12 Pro for my folks and it's brilliant, really snappy and almost silent. So I bought myself a similar N150 version to play with and the Windows install is completely borked and the fan is much louder.
I think it's more of a lottery, if you get a good one they are great, but there's a higher probably you'll get a lemon. Whereas the Pi 5 is consistent and will be going strong 24x7 10 years later, and the support is... well there's no comparison.
Interesting dilemma for RPF/RPT, do they keep churning out ever more capable and expensive Pis and try to compete, or should they stick to cheaper devices for schools/hobbyists? It's the 90's all over again.
