Thanks for the link. So that patch seems to be included in 6.1.y too.
Currently I'm still running into this issue when I have two 4K HEVC videos + a GL surface briefly presented at the same time. I guess I'll have to work around this by making my own plane allocation algorithm a bit smarter.
