That's somewhat odd. Too big to be the boot partition in a standard image, too small to be the entire card. On the other hand it is aproximately the upper limit for formatting a partition with FAT32 on a Windows box. It's also the maximum size supported by the SDHC standard.
Can your card reader/PC's SD card slot cope with a card of that size? Depending on the card it needs to support SDXC or SDUC. (source)
Though there's also the possibility that you have a fake card.
It might be worth putting your card back into your PC and looking what its disc management tools (not explorer or the file manager) shows.
