There are no markings on this fan. The place where it is plugged into on the monitor is called FAN.

The monitor is compatible with the Raspberry.

I don't know why this monitor comes with a fan like this.

It is to keep the Pi cool.

You could try talking to your supplier or replace it with any Pi cooler that will fit - if you go your own way then I would look to use something like https://thepihut.com/products/fan-contr ... spberry-pi

Is it needed? Totally depends on how hot your Pi gets.
